EMDR intensives
Specialized, fast-processing trauma-informed therapy for adults
Still feeling stuck—even after years of therapy?
Maybe you’ve made real progress in weekly sessions...
But certain memories, beliefs, or patterns still won’t budge.
You’ve talked it through, journaled, meditated—and you’re still carrying the weight.
If you feel like you’ve outgrown traditional therapy, but you're not done healing, EMDR intensives might be the right next step.
You’re still struggling with:
Ready to work through the layers without waiting a week between sessions
Do focused, uninterrupted work
Clear out stuck patterns at the root—not just the surface
What are EMDR Intensives?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps your nervous system reprocess trauma so you can move forward—without being hijacked by the past.
Intensives condense the work of months of therapy into just one or two days, giving you space to go deeper, stay focused, and process more completely. What if a day or two could make a huge difference?
You’ll still remember what happened—but you won’t be trapped in cycles of hypervigilance, emotional shutdown, or self-blame.
-
With a focused structure and uninterrupted flow, intensives help you:
Process more in one weekend than months of weekly therapy
Access and resolve memories your brain may avoid in shorter sessions
Calm your nervous system and integrate what you’ve worked through
Feel emotionally complete, not cracked open and left hanging
Clear out stuck beliefs and patterns at their root
It’s not rushed. It’s concentrated, intentional, and powerful.

“
“EMDR was found to be more effective than Prozac in treating PTSD. The difference was that Prozac provided relief only while patients were taking it, whereas EMDR had lasting effects even after treatment ended.”

EMDR Intensives are offered as 90 minute (upon request) and 1-day and 2-day sessions. We are reprocessing content for 3 hours per day. This allows us to go deeper because we are doing multiple hours of getting through material that may not come up until the end of a weekly session. Weekly is great if you are looking to use your insurance and are okay with the stop-start of reprocessing.
-
A lot of the processing is done in the subconscious mind which is where the greatest growth happens. Compared to talk therapy we are setting up where to begin processing and only reviewing some of the content that comes up in between reprocessing.
